Vandes Jackson, a producer-artist dedicated to sharing his abstract creations and mindset within the realm of New Age Trap music, just dropped an electrifying beat tape with features and guest collaborations.
The 35-minute mixture delves into exclusive production gems from Vandes and truly showcases his versatility in a manner never seen before! Though the 25-year-old is best known for “Audemar Dreams,” the beat tape runs a wide range of styles, while retaining Vandes’ signature 808s, abstract syncopation, and a heightened sense of musical textures in terms of dynamics. The project includes features from Paxquiao, Foreign Dutch, and Good.To.Go. Guest producer collaborations include Atlanta natives Bobby Kritical, and ArcadeEra.
“These guys made this tape better than I could’ve alone. One of the best feelings to me is to have someone freestyle on my beats and completely take the production to the next level naturally. That’s exactly what all of these artists did and I was blown away. Still am. Volume 2 is insane!” said Vandes recently when asked about the features.
As it pertains to the co-produced selections, Vandes mentioned “Bobby Kritical practically set the blueprint for me when I was younger. I listened to K Camp a lot in my teenage years studying the swagger of syntax from production to lyrics. I prayed, manifested, and worked some years for the opportunity to work with one of them one day. It finally happened. I would say ‘I’m grateful’, but even that is a true understatement for the gratitude I feel. Also, ArcadeEra is one of the best loop makers I’ve ever met in my life. Haven’t missed a collaboration with him yet”. The beat tape celebrates a milestone accomplishment for Vandes, earned through much hard work and dedication to the craft. His forthcoming EP “Power” due out this fall via Bentley Records.
