Coming off the release of his 2019 breakthrough EP B.L.I.S.S. (Because Love Is So Special) with hit tracks “Hills” and “Crush” which have racked up over 100 million streams across all platforms, “DRUGS'' explores the ebbs and flows that come with a toxic relationship and wanting someone who is not good for you. Written by Souly himself, the mid-tempo track is produced by Hennedub who is best known for his work with Jessie Reyez and 6LACK. "This single compares a relationship to addictive substances. The first verse explores each persons’ faults and dives deep into a specific situation pushing further into the most negative aspects of the relationship. The second verse is the flip side by going back in time to the honeymoon phase and the beginning of this addictive relationship, foreshadowing the worst to come," said Souly.
