Clocking in just shy of four minutes, KOLE’s “Let It Burn” is a smoldering pop cut. Inflamed by
producer, Miami Horror’s, resounding kick drum, groovy bassline, sparkling keys, and snappy percussion, the track simmers smoothly across verses, before exploding into an inferno of chorus and chords. As phenomenal as it may be, KOLE is not abandoned by the production. In fact, her voice could be the very tinder that keeps the flames hot. If her house is indeed on fire, KOLE is the smoke it has created; floating above the destruction in a ghostly haze of melody and grace.
