Veli Brand brought Rico Nasty back to the Big Apple this past Tuesday, April 3rd, alongside female spitters Quanna and Abby Jasmine. With female rap exploding these past few years, this show continued to highlight and provide a platform for these talented gems. New York was just Rico's first stop with Veli Brand as they hit up Philly on Wednesday night.
Quanna opened up the show with bringing out New York's own Amazin Ash. The crowd enjoyed her carefree black girl vibes rocking out to her hits "Curves" and "Sunday Service".
Abby Jasmine kept the show going with her cute, thuggish aesthetic keeping everyone's attention for the headlining act. Get familiar with her track "Dangerous" below:
The Knitting Factory was packed with Rico Nasty fans who knew her records word from word all the way From "Hey Arnold" to "Trust Issues". Rico sparked a joint and even fixed her makeup mid set but that didn't distract her fans from the high volume show. Rico provides a kind of punk rock aggression that her fans can relate to.
