To say Spillage Village is having one hell of a year is an under statement.
The hip hop collective, including Earthgang, J.I.D, Jordan Brynt, and Hollywood JB is a powerhouse. The ATLiens and Maryland natives have toured the world, worked with some major names in the industry, and consistently dropping gems. Next up, Spillage Village has a new compilation project dropping and we're all ears.
On December 2nd, Spillage Village will release their Bears Like this Too Much project, the third installment of the Bears series. The compilation is known for its unique flows and notable features like OG Maco and Marian Mereba. "Can't Call It", which will appear on the project, features J. Cole and Dreamville's Bas alongside Spillage Village's Earthgang and J.I.D, with production by Hollywood JB. You may have peeped a snippet of this track on DJ Khaled's Major Key album titled as "Jermaine's Interlude". They effortlessly turned the 3 minute snippet into a full 6 minute record speaking on the realities of life.
Not featured on Bears Like This Too Much, "Laundry Day" is a loosie from the collective featuring production by Mac Miller. Last summer, Earthgang and J.I.D were on tour with Miller, hitting venues such as The Tabernacle in Atlanta and House of Blues in Cleveland.
You can preorder Bears Like This Too Much here, set to release Friday Dec. 2nd.
