Philly-based emcee Herb Sims releases his new track, “YNWS” (Young N**** Wanna Shine). Backed by moody production by Eardrum, Sims sets things off by rhyming “I’m cut from a different cloth, you never seen it, Whatever’s said is done, young, cause I really mean it.” Those words ring true as delivers each and every line with an uncompromising tone and so much conviction, just enough to make you want to stay tuned in for whatever he has planned next. For now, that means a new EP set to drop this summer but, for the future, we should be hearing Sims, especially if what he’s saying is as catchy as “YNWS.”
