Often times female artists go unnotice in the rap world, with the first one to come to mind being Nicki Minaj. No offense to Nicki, but there are tons more making a name for themselves, especially on the indie circuit. Today, we feature 9 upcoming female artists to add to your playlist:






Chynna Rogers  (@MadeInChyna)
A Philly, PA native and model (yes, she's walked in Fashion Week) is a beast when it comes to rhyming, which she highlighted on her record "Glen Coco".






Audra the Rapper (@AudratheRapper)

From gaining the attention of Rick Ross, Audra the Rapper has a signature style she's crafted from a young age. She gains influences from Lauryn Hill, which she tributed her project Miseducation of Audra to.








Chiiirp (@SmokingVapors)
An artists in full form, Chiiirp not only spits hot fire, she also is a painter, henna artists, and makeup artist (just to name a few). The Detroit native combines her rock influences in her music and isn't afraid to just be herself.








Chyna Dee (@_ChynaDee)

Not to be confused with Chynna Rogers, Chyna Dee is an Atlanta native who isn't shy to bear it all on the track. She hit the scene hard with her single "Get Money" and proves she can actually spit. Chyna just released her debut project titled #MadeInChyna.





LOSA (@QueenLosa)

The Zooly gang femcee is proving talent takes the cake. Using writing as a form of therapy, Losa found rapping as an escape and way to release the negative energy.Since her first release "Casual", the artist has been prepping for the release of her debut project Sophisticated Ignorance. 








Relly Jade (@RellyJade)

You've probably seen this name on a few Rome Fortune collabs. Relly Jade is a smooth, laidback artists who brings back the feel of the 90's on her tracks. The Pittsburgh native brings a unique artistry to her craft naming her self the leader of the goats. Goat Breed is available for streaming on RellyJade.com.




Salma Slims (@Salma_Slims)

The first lady of the Private Club is more than just a pretty face. She has hard hitting, gritty lyrics with the occassional F*bomb. It's apparent that her brand is her number one priority and her work ethic is unmatched. She recently released her first solo project titled Who Is Salma Slims hosted by DJ Grady found on Datpiff.











Dutch Rebelle (@DutchRebelleFN)
Named one of the 15 artist to know about in XXL, Dutch is definitlely one to get familiar with. The Boston native delivers both aggression and intellect to her rhymes that have been critically acclaimed. She definitly knows how to grab the crowd's attention with her signature #KissKissBANGBANG tag line. Duth Rebelle Diaries are out now.

Awful Records' lady counter part, Lord Narf has been seen along side Father, ILoveMakonnen, and more, but recently released a dope project titled For the Funky. Narf's creativity is magnetizing which she highlights on every track.
