AudioCommon (@AudioCommon) - Get To Know the Brand

"Simple, online collaboration for the new Music Industry."

AudioCommon is redefining the way music is created, organized, and shared in today's interconnected world. Through their cloud-based platform, it allows artists and the larger Music Industry to build and grow geographically-separated teams, communicate securely and collaborate during the earliest stages of the creative process, and engage the public by sharing new forms of interactive music content.

This is a platform that was built by artists, for artists.

After coming home from Afghanistan with the military, founder Phil Cohen went back into the studio to create his latest album; and, after recording, he was caught in what felt like a never-ending loop that wasted tons of time and money. Today, there are millions of artists who experience similar inefficiencies that stifle the creative process.  AudioCommon was developed to fix some of these key inefficiencies, and put the power of the Industry into the Artist's hands.  AudioCommon was born in the studio, but it has grown into a movement.  A movement to empower indie artists throughout the world.

There are two key portions of the AudioCommon:
1. The internal and very secure collaboration interface (on this portion of the platform, artists work with other artists, producers, engineers, and managers to create music and keep their teams informed throughout the creative process),
2. The public sharing interface (on this side, artists can share their multi-track stems with the public and, in doing so, engage their fans in new ways by giving them key insight into the creative process).

A3C is a natural partnership for AudioCommon as each of the organizations is dedicated to helping indie artist. Their line up is a true representation of the heart of A3Cw with artists throughout the US being represented at the AudioCommon Showcase; and the audience will be able to experience music from artists with drastically different perspectives. In addition, this showcase will merge their collaboration platform with live music (both the artists and the fans).  This tech-meets-live music integrated approach will be an exciting and very unique component of the AudioCommon showcase.
