Most of us know what it's like to be away from home for an extended period of time, either permanently or temporarily. Whether homesick or just plain sick of home, chances are that-- at point or another--you were surrounded by people who misunderstood you.
R&B songstress Shine, on the other hand, understood completely.
With her debut EP, titled extended-play, the Cali-born singer/songwriter (currently based in New York) explores those familiar feelings of isolation, frustration, and determination over pre-released production from Swiff D (who produced for the likes of Schoolboy Q, Pac Div, Dom Kennedy, etc.) and Dyaygo 6:06.
