If you don't know who SZA is by now, you've been loving under a rock. TDE adds a signer to its roster of top emcees with the enlistment of SZA. The NJ native was announced to the label that hosts Kendrck Lamar, School Boy Q, and Ab Soul last month. Before signing to the label, the songstress released a handful of projects including See.SZA.Run. She also dropped the first installment of the trio EP, with S that featured singles such as "Juila" and "Teen Spirit".
"To be the first female on TDE is more...it's really just more important to me to be a part of TDE, rather than the first female," said the singer during an interview with MTV news. "They've worked with grils in the past, incredible [artists] like Alori [Joh] and Jhene [Aiko]."
