Every year, Drake puts on the OVO music festival in Toronto. The October's Very Own Festival brings the hottest entertainers in the game onstage and last night, in its forth year, the festival did not disappoint. Drake brought his famous friends out to his hometown such as Big Sean, Wale, J. Cole, A$AP Rocky, French Montana, The Weeknd and Miguel. While Frank Ocean wasn't able to make his performance due to vocal injury, Kanye West made an epic appearance where he performed both "New Slaves" and "Can't Tell Me Nothing" in a high volume showcase. Following his performance, West gave an outpouring of affection to the Canadian rapper and revealed that he teamed up with Jay Z just to keep up with talented Aubrey Graham.
"Me and Hov would have never made Watch the Throne if this n---a wouldn't have been pushing on us like that," said Kanye.
Lil Wayne teamed up with his young protege for "The Motto", "HYFR", and "Love Me". Since the release of Drakes tracks such as "All Me" and "No New Friends" there has been rumors of the two rappers being in the outs, but their performance showed no sign of friction. Drake even called Wayne the "best rapper alive" and confirmed his allegiance to Young Money
"I'mma be riding with this man until the end of time!" - Drake
Drake balanced between being headliner and fan by bringing out P Diddy, Ma$e, and TLC. The Bad Boy Alums performed "Mo Money Mo Problems" and "It's All About the Benjamins". TLC was joined by Lil Mama, who plays Left Eye in the upcoming biopic, to perform "No Scrubs".
