Rumor has it that that lyrical genius, Andre 3000 may be dropping a new album at the beginning of 2014. On August 3, BET executive Stephen Hill tweeted that he ran into the Outkast rapper who revealed he's been working on a few projects including a solo album.

Fans went crazy over the news considering the ATLien rapper has been teasing us with features on everyone's album including Beyonce, Frank Ocean, and Rick Ross. 3 Stacks hasn't released an album since Outkast's Idlewild soundtrack. While, he could successfully live off the checks from his features (I can only imagine what that costs), we want to hear more! But don't' get your hopes up just yet. Billboard reached out to a rep for the rapper who stated nothing has been confirmed quite yet. "Regarding reports of a specific plan to release an album in 2014," stated his publicist. "There is no official confirmation on that report."
Andre 3000 has been focusing more on his acting career. He is set to star as the legendary Jimi Hendrix in the upcoming biopic entitled All Is By My Side. A few pics of 3 Stacks in full Hendrix get up were unveiled on the Toronto International Film Festival's official website where the film will make its debut next month. Last year, the rapper spoke with SPIN Magazine about taking on the huge role. "In researching him, I saw a lot of the paths that he went down were the same ones that I went down when I was a young kid," he said. "He did what he thought was right for music. I always gravitated towards him ...This movie is the real s--- here. I think people will learn things they didn't know."
