Everyone has been going Vine crazy! The new social media wave has officially released on Android.
Vine is a 6-second video sharing social network ran by Twitter. Originally just available for iOS users, the app is now available on the Android market and is free to download for anyone running Google 4.0 or higher. Twitter released the app to iPhones after acquiring the startup through Vine. Since then, the app has managed to rack up an amazing 13 million users and counting.
The Android app doesn't come jam packed with features like that of iPhone, but hopes to include them in future updates. Some updates will include access to the front facing camera and push notifications. It does, however, support a unique Android feature that of zooming supported by the Galaxy S4 and other Android phones.
Maybe we should get a Vine, too!
