Jay Z announces his upcoming album Magna Carta Holy Grail releasing on July 4. Hov announced the project during the halftime Spurs vs. Heat game on Sunday night. In the commercial. the rapper is found in the studio with some of the hottest producers in the game including Pharrell, Timbaland, Rick Rubin and Swizz Beatz.
Jay states that it's time to change the rules to the game and offers the album exclusively to Samsung Galaxy users who download a customized mobile app before being released to the public. When describing the album he states,
""The album is about like this duality. How do you navigate your way through this whole thing—like success, through failures, through all this—and remain yourself?""
While the world is caught between J. Cole and Kanye this Tuesday, Jay Z reminds us that he signed both of them.
