Food
- Tupperware - take food to-go in tupperware containers. Great way to save leftovers, too!
- Prepare meals - cook meals rather than eating out. Groceries last a lot longer than a meal from a fast food place.
- Check out events on campus - most events come with food to draw in a crowd. Learn about something going on around campus and enjoy a meal on them.
- Public trans - try your city's public transportation. They often have discounts for students!
- Carpool
- Get a scooter or bike - save on gas and try a scooter or bike to get around!
- Pay on time - to avoid late fees, always pay your bills on time!
- Set autopay
- Charges - get rid of memberships you don't use like to the gym! Use your school's resources!
- Phone bill - cut the extra minutes and features you don't use to lower your bill. Also, ask your company if they offer a discount with your school!
- Rent
- Share - use a friend's book or split the cost!
- Older edition - cheaper and relatively the same!
- Free events on campus - campus is full of movie nights, outings, and more. Read the flyers or get more information from your Student Activities board!
- Tourist sites in your city - check out your city for cool tourists spots. A lot of time it's free to hit up an old monument. Some places offer great student rates!
- Group events - gather your friends and hit up the amusement park or aquarium. They have lower prices for large groups and students!
- Netflix
- Pandora
- School - check out your school's gym, library, or lounge area for entertainment! You're already paying for it in tuition, might as well take advantage!
