I recently sat down with AUC artist Miles Stone and checked out his latest project, "Blue Collar Project". The new EP is set to launch on October 27 in alignment with Spelhouse Homecoming Tailgate.
The project aims to relate to the struggles of the "cigarettes & food stamps" generation. Bringing motivation through melodic tunes, Stone's raps are full of the truth that the rap game seems to be missing. It's evident that Stone's influences of Big KRIT and OutKast are embedded in tracks such as "Keep it Player" and "This Evening".
Stone recruits a plethera of AUC talent on "Blue Collar Project". There's a track for everyone, from a club banger, to Southern tunes, to a Caribbean inspired track. The project is broke down into three parts with skits in between. He completes the work with "One Day", a song dedicated to motivating others to go after their own dreams. As his name suggests, he wants to be significant through his music. "I'm not a rapper, I'm an artist," states Stone.
You're probably wondering how this relates to "A Broke Student's Handbook"? Through using your network and grinding, you can Acheive your dreams such as Miles Stone. It is imperative to build your network now among your colleagues and share your dream with those who can aid you in reaching them. Check out Miles Stone at SpelHouse Tailgate and cop Blue Collar Project!
