Vote or ..ugh die.

It's election season! This post isn't to push my preferable candidate, but to educate students on the importance of participating in voting in November. Many students may think their vote doesn't count over the majority, but that's quite the opposite. In the last election, students were the driving force in getting President Obama elected and will be a huge influence on the upcoming election as well. There are a lot of issues that affect students such as Student Loans, Pell Grants, and more that every student should take the time to educate themselves on. While you may think your vote won't mean much, that's far from true.

A college campus is full of resources to help students stay knowledgeable of the candidates' views, register to vote, and even get a ride to the nearest voting poll. Many of them offer registration drives and hand out information to help you better understand the process. Politics can be confusing, but your school's SGA is a great place to direct any of your questions. Keep on the lookout for what your campus has in store! Hit up a registration drive or do it online.

In honor of the upcoming election, Pink Planes has launched a new limited T-shirt design that can be preordered through September 14th. You can preorder the t-shirt online at www.pinkplanesclothing.bigcartel.com. Pink Planes, as a company, understands the importance of voting and wants to encourage everyone to take part.

What are you doing to get involved? Have you registered yet? Well, no better time than the present. Register online or get in touch with your school's SGA office to find out what they will have available for students interested in voting. Happy Voting!
